Textured Paper & Collage series

Service Description

In this four-part workshop, we will slow down and enter the world of layers, texture, and transformation. Participants will create their own handmade textured papers using simple materials, intuitive mark-making, and experimental techniques. These papers will become the raw material for a personal collage process where each layer will be holding traces of gesture, emotion, and story. Across four sessions, we will move from making and gathering to composing and reflecting, allowing images to emerge organically rather than forcing an outcome. No art experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. All materials will be provided and you are also welcome to bring some of your favorite papers to play with. Class will begin Monday June 1-June 22, 6:30-8:30
