Intro to Tapestry Weaving

Service Description

Join Mary and Marina for a 3-session Tapestry Weaving class. We will teach you how to set up your tapestry loom and then create your own tapestry using a variety of colors, shapes, textures and patterns. You will learn a variety of popular weaving techniques including plain weave, soumak, rya knots and tapestry techniques. You can design a small wall hanging, mug rugs, table mats - and that is just the beginning! Cost includes all yarns and a 16 x 20 inch tapestry frame to take home so you can continue your weaving journey!
