Intro to Stitched Shibori

Service Description

Intro to Stitched Shibori covers techniques for creating patterns by stitching and pulling up thread. This opens up a whole new realm of design opportunities. We will cover 3 basic stitches: hira-nui (a single line of straight stitches), ora-nui (Straight stitches worked on the fold), and maki-age (stitch an outline, and bind it to create a filled shape). All materials will be provided. No previous experience is needed.
