Weaving

Rugs, table runners, and scarves - oh my! Learn how to make fabric, rugs, table mats, scarves and much more using a 4 harness table loom (one 36 inch floor loom is also available). Play with color, texture, design and discover the joy of fiber arts. All levels are welcome - if you have never woven, we will walk you through the process. If you have some experience, we can work on ideas or try new things together.

Shabori & Indigo Vat

Learn the traditional Japanese art of Shibori, a form of tie-dye, and create beautiful, vibrant patterns on fabric. Please bring a white or light colored article of clothing or pieces of fabric made of natural fibers (cotton, linen, wool, or silk, no polyester please) You can upcycle t-shirts, vintage linens, even revive something that is stained. We will also have some textiles on hand to purchase.
